PHOTOS OF TRIP TO OAHU
Just a sampling of about 20 photos out of the over 400 i took, enjoy.
I like playing around in photoshop and merging multiple photos together to make panoramas.
The photos have some shading problems where the photos merge thats why they look kinda strange.
View from DH-peak
Also looking down from DH-peak--waikiki side of DH, dont know the name of this break--look good that day though

View from my hotel balcony looking to kaisers
Rock Piles or Inbetweens not really sure
Half Point at Sandy Beach May 30th
I was taking the previous pictures of Half Point at Sandy Beach when I happened to glance back
over my shoulder to the other end and saw this boogie boarder get pitched and cartwheeling head first into the sand,
in the subsequent explosion of frothy sand and water, he bounced off the bottom and flew back up into the air
upside down landing almost on the dry sand.
ANd he wasnt doing a rollo or any trick, he was out of control.
I almost died by choking on my Macdonald fries laughing so hard.

Pirahna Koi in the water at Byodo temple
My girlfriend.
The ever present ROBERTS OF HAWAII bus tourists, when ever they showed up we ran for the car
The show at the Polynesian Cultural center, since no flashes were allowed every photo had to be time lapsed, so they are blurry, but still kinda cool.
Comments are welcomed..

Rich , ar u talking about cliffs? I think Neal and I surfed there, though the day we went, the wind was blowing so hard it was causing a god awful current running east to west, the sea to spray in your eyes since you had to paddle constantly upwind against the current just to maintain position, and super choppy.

Wow on the Photos!
PR Surfer,
You did a great job on the photo's. I have to say the best one was the body boarder in mid flight. It looked like it was a funny thing to see.

that left me on the floor laughing, seem like I am doing the "gull wing style".
It was windy that day wasnt it Neal...guess I was trying to fly.
Thanks for the photo. I just saved it.
On a side note I just submitted the paperwork for my transfer to Oahu.
I was waiting till I got back from my trip, just to be sure I liked it
(didnt want to jump from the frying pan to the fire so to speak,
cause any transfer I make I got to stay at the new area for 2 years)
The transfer can go thru in 2 months or can take as long a 1 year, guys
say a little prayer for 2-3 months (even if you dont believe in praying
