Howzit Comrades!
Looks like we could get a little thunder from down under for the first week of September. I was just admiring all the lovely shades of Oxblood on the fnmoc long range outlook.
I was thinking of visiting a friend on the Big Island...anybody know spots that can hold size around Kona?

Red here...too lazy for the password. Drove down to south point today to look for some spots but the caravan scraped out on the backroads. Ended up hanging out with some core local guys who gave us the lowdown about how nasty the curents get when the wind blows.
Going to dawnie a spot further up the coast and hopefully something will come of it. If it does I'm not telling you guys, though.

Found a decent spot on the Kona coast that picks up south swell. Had a good sesh all morning until the onshores picked up. Everybody was really nice. Too bad the place is going to be turned into a golf course really soon. I'm sure thats going to do wonders for the reef.
4x4 is still broken so we couldn't go anywhere remote besides the south point. I'm coming back for sure to do more exploring. Even though the waves aren't as good as town it was great to get away from work and decompress. The diving is the best part for sure.
I'm out of cash so I gotta come back to Oahu. See y'all in the lineup tomorrow.
