Lighthouse Question
Lighthouse Question
This is for all you experts out there. What's the biggest it can hold? Remember the big swell last summer. I forget what day and stuff, but was all High Surf advisory. Bowls was breaking way outside. I went out at the house and it pretty much sucked. Too big. And really the waves was only like 4ft. Wat's da haps?

I've surfed it 6-8 and flawless. I believe it would hold bigger, but direction is everything.

what??!!??
wait wait wait, you really think were just going to tell you everything for nothing only to have you lurkin around on the good days, gettin under foot and cryin bout people takin off behind the peak? most of us have spent years, or more often decades out there figurin it out for ourselves. i know i know, im a jerk, so ill throw you a bone, the best days dont look very good from the parkin lot, you have to look from the garden. ive probably said too much, bamms gonna scold me. just be cool if you come out, its one of the only spots on the south shore where ability and experience usually gets you waves without some mediocre, lawn-mower startin style havin ding bat wigglin in front of you. if thats you, then go surf the park, well both be happier.

Well, the scolding's just for starters, then its spanking time!
wat do you mean haven't earned it? I've been surfing it for a long time too. i've even been out with bam, bud and all da regs. but for some reason i haven't caught it classic with size. i'm just thinking that it can't hold anything big, 2-3x oh. i don't want to use my name because i don't want to be known as a townie surfer, ha.

Townie surfers:
Gerry Lopez, Bertelman, Fereirra, Aipa, Chesser, Mke Akima, Brian King, Robin Johnston, Gordon Quigg, Mickey Nielsen, Mark Nielsen, Tim Fretz, Bruce Black, Brett Goodfriend, Keone Downing....
Not too bad a list, really. What a juvenille desire you have to be cool, and what a strange criterieon you've chosen to attach to it. How sad that you think that what someone else thinks about where you're from matters at all. It's what you do wherever you happen to be surfing that counts. Anonymity lacks credibility.
