attaching quicktime file

Postby stickman » Sun Apr 17, 2005 5:03 pm

I'm pretty computer illiterate. Can someone explain how to attach a quicktime file to one of these posts? I wanted to share a file a friend emailed to me from a surf session back in Feb. Any and all help would be appreciated. Thanks and aloha!

Thanks Bud. I'll do that. It's pretty blurry but at least some idea of how the waves break down in A.Samoa. My friends' son took the video of our session and put my waves together and emailed it to me. He let me use their spare board and it was my first session down there after traveling there every four months for the last 5 years. The day before was a couple feet bigger and straight offshore winds with some sick looking barrels. My friends son was the only one out that day. Anyway, coming your way soon. thanks again.

Howzit Jah,

Any keiki's in the near future? Good to hear from you. I think something's wrong with that file (surfing vid). I had trouble attaching it to the message I sent to Bud. I'm still trying. Surfed small uncrowded Vland yesterday and bodyboarded Courts today. Both sessions were real fun. Keep on surfing!

Couldn't see the vid for some reason. :?:

No keiki's on this horizon stick! I live the stoke through others having kids these days. :)
In the future but I have some 'selfish' travel time to get out of my system before having a kid. Maybe a few years, 3 or so. 8)

Howz you little one? Surfing yet? I'm sure you have him in and around the ocean somehow. V's sounds good...you see bruddah G lately? I talked with him a few months ago.

Hey Jah,

I know what you're saying about getting the travel bug a chance before having a big responsibility like a young one. No worries. you've got plenty of time for kids. Haven't seen the G-dude in a while. Our schedules don't seem to match for a hook up these days. Anyway, keep on surfing!

Hey Bud,

I logged on but still couldn't view the file. Message said something like "post does not exist". Am I still doing something wrong? Thanks for all your help!

Oops, Sorry Jah. Forgot to mention. Got Jacob taking swimming lessons at the local Y. He's 23 months old and still a little apprehensive around the water. We spent a lot of time at the beach these past couple of weeks though since I was on vacation. He's still pretty much into the sand more than the water for now. I try not to push him too much because I don't want to traumatize the little buggah. Otherwise.other than spending more timeout in the corner lately he's been a barrel of fun. I'm hoping he starts preschool soon. He'll become more sociable and I'll get more water time? I'll keep you posted. Aloha, Stick.

Nice vid stickman 8)

I'm sure your little one will be begging you for the beach and a new board in 3 or 4 years so enjoy it while you can. next thing you know, $300 for him every 6 mos.
