I'm gonna eat as much as i can and see if i can hibernate from may through august.
I would feel the same, but if I had to choose only one spot to surf for the rest of my life, it would be my beloved homebreak on the South Shore. I love the Lighty and she love me.

this is a case where i don't mind sharing...dh is my lady...i ask her for permission before entering, sometimes i ask her for forgiveness or to wash away my sins, and i always give her thanks when i'm finished...many nice spots around, but i always come back to take the slide into the mo'o's teeth...and i hope it stays that way for many years to come...
i dunno why you guys are complaining.
the only difference between summer and winter nowadays is that winter got waves.
BOTH seasons are equally as KOOKed out with hoards of foreigners, incompetents, and inconsiderates.
used to be the vibe was different in the winter. the country was way more MATURE, as far as surfing went. town used to be reserved for the aggro wannabe's. NOT SO anymore. the wannabe's have stepped it up a notch, and have succeeded in scewing up north shore surfing.
i can only say that i am grateful for having been a part of the best times of the north shore. i surely had a taste of the best life there WAS. nowadays it's a frikking circus, complete with clowns, high flying acts, ringleaders, the whole nine yards.
town? summer??? it ain't shit compared to the zoo that's become the north shore has become...
paradise lost.
