Met Makani at the Factory Saturday

Postby bammbamm808 » Sun Jun 20, 2004 10:32 pm

He has been putting some boards through there lately. He was there with his friend Keoki from Maui. I've seen him somewhere before. Can tell he surfs a lot...has the calcified lowest ribs from paddling all the time, like Gordon Quigg has big time. He's shaping a lot of boards for someone just starting out.

s9j - he's tied up right now but said to drop him an email he'll get back to you ASAP with contact number, info and ordering specs if you like.

Also mentioned for you or anyone interested that he has a very slightly used 6'5" x 18.75 for sale. A bit too thin for hm, very tapered rails.

I saw him Surf about a month ago at Pops ,That guy can surf. His
surfboard seems to have magic, He and his other surf buds were tearing it up!! :D
I asked him if he was still shapping and he said yes. I liked his 7ft board a lot.!!
