How to edit footage

Hey guys.


Is there any body out there who know how to edit surf footage. I know there is a special software but what is it called and where can i get it? I'm going surfing in feburary and i want to take my camcorder and have my bro. get some rad footage of me rippin' up the waves. and i want to know how to edit it because i don't want it showing any of my wipeouts just the sweet moves.

windows movie maker is kind aghetto, but works allright...

bit torrents are your friends for d/l all the latest softwares...ie adobe premiere, final cut...
