Here's a checklist I put together, anyone have further suggestions?
1. Wife (after all it is our honeymoon!)
2. 2 brand new Da Kine leashes
3. 4 bars of tropical wax
4. 2 boards, 6'3" and 6'8".
5. removable fins (1 set, maybe 2)
5. allen wrench for fins
6. rash guard
7. Sunblock 30+
8. maybe a 1 MM short suit. (thoughts??)
9. board bag for travel
10. probably bring a first aid kit with peroxide and iodine. anything else??
11. big balls
12. duct tape
13. super glue
14. reef booties
15. (more leashes but used, figured 2 brand new Da Kine leashes were necessary)
16. working on the bigger board, possibly a 7'0". i would bring my 7'6" but it is a honeymoon and not a surf mission. I will be surfing solo and will probably not charge Triple over head Tahiti. To be determined...
17. reef booties
3 weeks

hey congrats to you both jah!
my wife and i went to northern costa rica for our moon, i made the mistake of focusing on surfing more than hanging with her but she's super cool and didn't grief me too much for it!
she knows how important surfing is to me and doesn't get in the way (too often!!)...
hell she's the one who got all stoked for me to get a hawaii medical license after our last trip there! and she's like me, can't wait for this winter season again in the country.
hopefully it works out good for you both, just try your best to spend lots of time with her is my advice, be there for her, not just the surf. gonna be tough in tahiti tho!
if you want the viagra sampler pack, pm me your addy and i'll hook a brother up!
=)

Nice thread....nice to hear men actually saying 'getting married was one of the best things I ever did' Restores my faith in ye a little!
As for the lad who's girlfriend called it a 'loser sport' and nagged him not to go out, just aswell you got out of there when you did. How anybody male or female can put up with that kind of crap I don't know. Both parties aren't happy in that kind of relationship.
Have a great wedding Jah!
I haven't been going out with anyone since I've gotten THIS into surfing and to be honest I'd find it very hard now to go out with a lad who didn't surf. When it's such a big part of my life if he didn't surf (and didn't 'understand' it) it would be tough!
I can see myself going surfing the morning of my wedding also! Start as you mean to carry on

thanks selke and adder!!
No problem focusing on mi chica!! Surfing is an after thought but it is a great way to escape and let her breathe/me breathe during the honeymoon. 2 weeks is a long time and I'm sure there will be a few times when she is requesting me to go surf!!
She rocks!!!
2 days till the wedding...lots to accomplish in that time. I'll catch up with everyone in a few weeks. Hopefully will have some nice pics for you.
