congrats! The night before my wedding, I paddled out to Pops by myself on my bodyboard and d!cked around in 1' slop for an hour. It really centered myself for the big day, and it was my last surf where I was truly "free."

I got under 14 hours of freedom left. I may go for a surf in the morning while the wife2b is getting ready.

I have been lucky enuf to have the same partner for the past 32 years - Yep, I met my wife when I was 13 and have been together for 32 years I am older than dirt at 45.

Did i ever think that it was kismet? Nope but alomg lifes way, I learned a wole lotta bout the other gender and how they relate to a man.

Damn I love her.

I better, or what dope I been fro 30+ years.....

Best of blessings to You, K, and any other male dogs that gotta go under the knife of love....

thanks fellas, means a lot!

LOL at Rich, too funny!

Congrats to Kelly, hopefully he's on a honeymoon somewhere special enjoying things!

I will definitely need the surf session to clear the mind. There will have to a surf session the day before, morning of and afterward. Getting married pretty much on the beach, so there will be some time for a quick session. Hawaiian shirt wedding , 10 steps to the beach, kick back atmosphere with good friends and family. :D

Hmark, I need some notes on your success of 30+ years, congrats!

I think solo's anniversary was recently, if so, congratulations to him and his Mrs. too!
Though shall be nice to everything that moves 8)

bruddah jah!!!

rastafariiiii!!!!

i think things are about to change big time in your life, for the better... i can't believe you remembered it was near time fo' my anniversary. that was this past monday, the 20th was our 29th anniversary.

i wouldn't change one thing.

i was 18 and she was 16, we were babies. and she was/still is my baby doll. we got married at mom's house, by a judge. the catholic church wouldn't have anything to do with us. was righteous!!!

simple, and sweet. just like our lives together...

who knows, maybe we'll renew our vows on our 30th anniversary, maybe in the south pacific?

best wishes to you and the wifey to be!!! if'n youses pass through here, make sure you buzz us so we can congratulate youses!!!

mr and mrs. jahmeister, sounds good!!!!

Had to let the longterm girlfriend / almost wife go... Was kinda bummed the first few weeks till I started getting the new pussy, and didnt have to worry about the constant fucking nagging about my love of surfing, always calling it a loser sport. To be honest, damn it feels good to be back in da game. I can't believe I spent the last 6 years with the same chick. I didnt realize how much shit I put up with, and the constant nagging, and the continual $$$ drain till i got out of the fog so to speak. FUCK FUCK FUCK I could have gone to Indo every year for a month at a time--- time wasted, friends lost because of a demanding girl.

SOrry about posting this here.

Anyway congrats on the nuptials. Hope it works better for you than it was going for me.
PS if she loves you as a surfer, then all will probably be good.

Marriage

Recently got married to a gal I've been with for 3 years. For someone to deny you surf is to deny you your excersize (and in the end your health and well being). Being healthy is very important. Finding that gal who isn't going to try to change you is ideal. I was lucky enough to find one. I surfed the day after my wedding and she was totally fine with that. She knows surfing is like me going to the gym. Respect important family celebrations though and you should be fine.
There are women out there who only want to control you. They would rather have you fat and unhealthy sitting by the tv so they have a thumb on you. It's a control thing. In turn, don't try to control them. Give and recieve respect.

Aloha!

if my wife ever told me NOT to go surfing, i don't think i'ld still be married to her.

in fact, if i don't surf enough, she starts wondering what's wrong with me...

surfing is good... pure, at the source...

NOt surfing is NOT good...

like megaprobster says: "if you don't surf, do NOT start. if you do surf nevre quit..." AMEN...

if a spouse or significant other DENIES you surf, it's time to move on.

congrats prsurfer!!!

Down to 1 week and 2 days.....Time is flying. Hope everyone one is well!

Thanks stick, thanks solo!!! Means a lot....:) I tried to do a return flight to oahu from Tahiti but it increased each fair by $800. Lot of cash. So we decided Tahiti would be good enough, it would have been fun to stop in for 3 days on the way back. Oh well, we'll be there again sometime soon. 8)

PR, that was the woman before my fiance. I pulled the plug on her because it wouldn't have been long term. My future Mrs. is very cool, very cool! Take it from me, it seems like there are no women available that understand surfers, then WHAM! In the door she walks!
Don't settle or it will be a very long life.

congrats Eric.
