Life's a bitch

Postby Kelly7873 » Fri Jul 23, 2004 9:34 am

My landlord just stopped by to say my house is in escrow and we will be kicked out around mid October. No more beach living for me, I'll never find a place that I can afford on the beach again. On the other hand if I have to drive to check the surf I may end up paddling out more often.

blahlah

that sucks!

I was just talking to a guy out in the water on the AH-side who used to live in a one bedroom apartment on the beach on that side for 1,500 a month - expensive, but maybe your days of beachfront living aren't over yet?

just trying to help, since i have a vested interest in your reports . . . :D

What a bummer!!! :(
There's a 2 bedroom house around the corner for $1900...

Best of luck finding a new pad. Aren't you getting married soon?

if you're willing to pay more than 1500 a month, you should really consider buyin a place (unless you plan on leaving the island). my morgage is less than 2000, including insurance, taxes, bills etc.i'm only 27yrs old. think about 1900*12=22800 thats more money than i put down to buy my house.

and i'm in a 3 bedroom/2bath house 1.5 miles from the beach. and i have an ocean view!!!

goodluck you'll find somethin'

I should add that I like my job but it pays squat and I'm getting married in September. Until my new wife gets a job we're going to be very poor. We are still in negotiations about how many surf days I'll get, I asked for 200 and she offered 20.

Pre Nup?

Postby HMARK » Fri Jul 23, 2004 3:13 pm

All the pre-nup needs to say is that a 10 ft + clause negates all prior commitments....
