Pics from Ca

Postby mbw » Fri Jul 13, 2007 9:51 pm

If you frequent the Surfer BB you may have seen these already. Thought some of you might like to check em out, esp if you've lived or visited Cal and might know these spots. Quality's not the best as most were taken with a Minolta Weathermatic 110 camera 15-20+ years ago.

Thanks for the positive replies... It's amazing, I've been carrying around my photo album for years and showed it to anyone who cared to see it. To be able to share some of these with many more people on this type of forum is really cool. :D

Nice waves. Too bad so many Californians act like dicks. Kinda takes the fun out of living there.

Nice pics! It's nice to see C street with some waveage, that place is fun. A few of my friends live up in Ventura.

Red, So many people here that there's bound to be some bad apples among the bunch.

Sorry Jah but I agree with Red. There are more bad apples than the good ones. Didnt matter where are I surfed in Cali (whether SF, LA, or SD) most had no clue of wave etiquette, and were major dicks.

No worries PR, this isn't my home state so no reason to apologize. Are you in SD? I thought we talked about hooking up for a surf a while back but I went MIA with work.

Greanz, absolutely. About 40 miles south of San Diego is still somewhat uncrowded, the water gets cold south of the border.
Waves are usually 3-4ft bigger down south. L^]

guess I should clarify 3-4ft mainland style

this spot usually looks a bit different but Santa Ana's can hollow it out sometimes. L^]
