Drop In at Canoe's?

I just caught the end of the News last night about some guy who got punched out at canoe's or pop's maybe for dropping in. He paddled in and called the cops and had the puncher arrested. Nothing in the paper this morning. Anyone else hear about it?

According to the CODE OF CRIMINAL PROCEDURE the statute of limitations for assault is 3 years in almost every state.

If permanent bodily injury occurs, or there is disfigurement the limitation is 7 years.

Least that is what my book states.

that guy must be stupid for beating up a guy in waikiki IDIOT!

statute of limitations in hawaii for assault 1st is 3 years. B felony. he's looking at a long jail time if convicted

I don't know anybody who would want to be known as the guy who went to jail for pounding somebody at canoes. There's a police station right there. If you're going to go all loco moco then at least save it for a more remote spot.

gawd i know canoes can get crowded and it can be frustrating to catch waves in a big crowd but jeeeeez dude needs to take some time off and chill...beat someone up over a wave? :roll: he better watch out i'm getting stronger!
