Yep , I went to hebrew school for a couple years, and an israeli friend taught me how to surf in Miami. He was always talking about "hilton" back in the holy land. Said he was surfing once and a dead guy floated up....

dude!!!! israel is a civilized country. hell its at least as technoligical improved as the USA. who you see on the news are the palesntinias, call them a minority, which have thier own strip of land, and they are the guys with the AK47s. if you want to come, talk to me ill tell you about spots.

Red, you're right haifa gets good swell because it has about 270 degrees of swell direction, when tel aviv and herzeliya have about 180 degrees

the crowds varies by when you surf. in the summer, there are a lot of beginners. buit if you come at 4 30 or 5 am, there is no one out and the waves will pump. anyway, the people in the water are very nice if you respect them. damien nichols (did i spell it right?) came for a visit this past summer, he frickin ripped.
