I say if I'm a local and older, I get priority on the waves. So that means I can drop in on any haole. This is what I do. And when they come up to me, I just tell, sorry but I was born and raised cuz.

That being said, I consider my 1/16th Hawaiian ancestry and being born and raised here in Hawai'i as license to drop in, at least 1/16th of the time.

Who is "guest" and what do you have against haoles?

If that was almost anyone else I doubt they would have done it without problems. I saw it done by 3 chicks at Pupes last year, only they didn't wipeout

I think it was them seeking publicity in a weird sense. They could have gone over the falls just down the beach without being in everyone's way, no? But it wouldn't have gotten the same attention in the media world.

I don't have anything against haoles, i meant to throw in brazilians, japanese too. For some reason, I can tell who wasn't born and raised here. Whenever I travel to Cali, Japan, I pay respect. I don't drop in or paddle around people. I take what is given to me.
