Maldives Anybody?

Probably gonna hit it up next summer. Anyone go? Rather go Mentawais, but cost is way too much. Heard the waves is perfect but weak too. Bud-Neal-Rich let's go. Friend in Japan just came back and said it was good. Cost $120 a day.

ive heard that if the wind isn't dead then it sucks,
weak and mushy. go indo in august its a guarantee.
for $80 more a day you could be living it up on a boat trip
and the maldives are just as far away as indo.,
but you never know till you go.

If you like curry Sri Lanka gets similar waves to the maldives and for that budget you'll live like a king. doesn't tend to get very big very often though. but it's a really cool place to see if you're going for more than just surf. avoid the north, small but nasty civil war since the 80s, the rest of the country is hardly affected by it.
Midigama, Hikkaduwa, Arugum Bay, to name a few spots.
