How can surfing be a a "team sport"? Any serious competiter will tell you that you have no friends in the water when the Heat starts.

Are the schools going to supply boards?

The surfer cannot mention the name of school he/she is attending? How's that for school spirit?!

Surf Clubs in schools are a joke.

Check out Brad Gerlach's new competitive surfing format called "The Game". A refreshing break from traditional competitive surfing as we all know it. Its a team thing, not man on man.

Can you imagine..you'll be sitting out at your fav break..just you and a couple other guys, chillin', shooting the breeze...when all of a sudden, 30+ kids, all hopped up on testostrone and soda suddenly paddle out. All geared towards competitive style surfing. Auwe!
I say let 'em cut school like we did. Damn keeds! :roll:
