I was wondering what forum was the most popular way to sell a board in Oahu. From what I have found so far, craigslist seems popular?
Due to the high cost associated with shipping a longboard from Australia I will have to buy one when I arrive and sell it when I leave.I've heard that there aren't many board shops on the North Shore.I heard that "planet surf "sells boards on consignment.Another shop I heard about was surfgarage are these shops any good? I don't want to trek around to a surfshop only to find they mainly sell tshirts and bikinis.

My board of choice would be a Takayama 9'2"DT2 which I have at home.
I am 46 ,92kg and figure that that would be a good allrounder for the north shore.I am arriving on 13th March 2007 and will be staying for 3 weeks.I've booked a weeks accomodation on the northshore and if the waves are good will probably stay on the north shore.I've been surfing for 33yrs and my shortest board is 7'3" and my largest 10'.My only experience of Oahu was a 3 day stopover in Waikiki in summer. The crowd was pretty thick with learners but the waves were fun.I fly home on 5/4/06.If I can find somewhere cheap to stay near Waikiki I wouldn't mind surfing there again but reckon I'd want more of a log for those waves.Anyone whose got a few spare boards in their quiver and wants few dollars towards their next board let me know.
