just got in a few days ago
what's up all? man, me and my wife just moved here a few days ago. we rented this sweet pad on the n.s. for our wedding. freakin' awesome to finally be here. oahu is unreal! don't care for honolulu though, kind of a rat race down there. we've been surfing mokuleia beach the last few days, long paddle out though. i'm used to cali and florida beach breaks. getting used to reef breaks will take some time. now we just gotta find a place to live. visited ewa beach yesterday, not an area for us. think we'll look near kailua beach. any imput on the surf conditions there would be helpful. picked up our 77 vw bus yesterday too. man, you can fit alotta boards in there! take care all. ride some for me today. i gotta look for a place to live.

Aloha and welcome to the Island Bruddah LFS...
Kailua's got some nice pads, but anything worth living in's gonna require some hefty scratch. Surf on the East side...not to many good days in Kailua, but you're not to far from Sandys. Mebe 15 minutes. Shorter paddle too. Also if you gots a military id there's KBay.
You might check out Hawai Kai side too. Still lots of bucks, but some nice places and the surf's good. (Long paddles though...)
Good luck!
