Rolling dem bones in Vegas

So me and the wife head to sin city for a well earned rest. Yeah, right. We split on the 13th, red eye to LV land. Checked in to the Bellagio as a treat for our 23rd anniversary, 33 years together. Why she puts up with me, I dont know.
Anyhow, we do da tourist thing, drive around and see the sights. If you do go, The Red Rock Resort just outside of Vegas is a gorgeous piece of work. Nice Spa, and killer good looking casino.
The Bellagio is deserving of a 5 star rating. The people are nicer than shit, even if you are wearing surfshorts and T-shirts. I guess you pay for that, some way.
Basically, I lose my ass playing craps for the first 6 days. We spend the last 4 staying at the Main Street Station Hotel downtown, near The California, where all da locals stay. Winner Ox-tail soup at The Cal.
Knowing that you guys were probably getting barreled of your asses didnt make losing kala any easier, either. But someone gotta sacrifice for da boys!
Dont know if anyone knows about craps, so I 'll try to explain fast-kine. There is a pass line bet, odds bets, and propositon bets. The game itself is the lowest house advantage in the casino. (not counting card counting in Blackjack, or single zero roulette)
You basically have a one in 6 chance of "sevening out" once you have a point number to make.
Most 'rolls' w/ a point last about 4 to 6 tosses. thats where the odds come in. And thats what you win/lose by.
Anyhow, losing sucks, but the last night at the Main Street, I had a roll of 1 hour and 5 minutes, which is pretty damn long. I had bought - in at 95 bucks, and cashed out up 1800 dollars. Another local guy wemt out w/ approx. 8K. Another local guy around 5K. they bought-in around 2 or 3 hundred.
And that was about good enough a atime for us to head home.
