Im a young surfer, never been anywhere but my home break. This December my parents are taking me surfing in Hawaii and I was just wondering where are place that would be ok for me to go. They said it didn't matter what Island so if anybody could help me I would greatly appreaciate it. Also what are some do's and don'ts that I should know before I go.

Do go spend your money help the economy.

Don't go in the water.

Go to Oahu. Depending on your skill level, there's medium to big waves North, and small stuff South. It's easy to get to and easy to rent a board, which is the way to go for a couple days.
