Simple Question But didn't know where to put it.

Im a young surfer, never been anywhere but my home break. This December my parents are taking me surfing in Hawaii and I was just wondering where are place that would be ok for me to go. They said it didn't matter what Island so if anybody could help me I would greatly appreaciate it. Also what are some do's and don'ts that I should know before I go. :?

Go to Oahu. Depending on your skill level, there's medium to big waves North, and small stuff South. It's easy to get to and easy to rent a board, which is the way to go for a couple days.
