I don't think they really broke the curse yet, they still haven't won the World Series. Pretty amazing that they got there though. I was positive that they would somehow blow it until they got that final out. I wonder what Nomar's up to tonight!

i'm with you 50% on that. mostly because the curse with BABE RUTH was in the deal between the yankees and the sox back in 1918 if i'm right. but the guts of the rivalry between the sox and the yankees has gone on since then and has done nothing but kept getting stronger. i remember last year watching the sox blow a massive lead on the yankees in game 7 and throwing shit around when they blew it in the 7th and 8th innings. the yankees have always been the problem and for the sox to come back after being 3-0 down and win in 2 games with x-tra innings.... i made the claim that the sox would only win when thay were against the ropes and make a miricle come back....very similar to kicking 55yd field-goals in blizzards. :!:

How can you still be a Red Sox fan after Bill Buckner let the ball go through his legs and then lose to the 86 Mets.

But I gotta give em credit they somehow managed to pull it out of their arse. Insane Baseball the last 3 games have been fun to watch.

I'm just HAPPY to see the evil empire of the Yankees lose and that lil fag A-rod cry like a baby.

I bet there will be alot Bostonians calling in sick tommorow.

Their payroll is twice as much as $90 million. But the Red Sox pay just about as much. Doesn't matter, because the Cardinals are way more fundamentally sound, so they should win the World Series. The Red Sox can't play defense and did anyone see that suicide squeeze by the Cards!
