9/11/01 NEVER FORGET

Postby LGREANZ » Wed Sep 27, 2006 6:01 am

well its been 5 years now since the attack on USA soil.
the tally of troops killed in Iraq and Afghanistan has just passed the number of civilians killed on 9/11/01.
it is all senseless.

we had to do something after we were attacked, but what should have we done. ???

as civilians we dont make the decisions to protect our nation.
the attacks were personal for me and millions of other Americans who were related, affiliated, or friendly with somene who passed.

unknowing to me or many other of my friends a young man from ny went to iraq to defend our country and honor our friends that were lost at the WTC, and protect our families from future attacks.

im am only posting this so people can realize the reality of the world we live in today, 911 changed the world forever.

Never forget the civilian americans that perished, and support our troops beacuse they are fighting a war for "YOU & I" and defending our freedom to go along with our everyday lives. without the army, marines, navy and countries that support our efforts against terrorism our nation would be nothing.

never forget.

That sucks. Sorry about your friend. I almost enlisted right after 9/11, but my dad sat me down and told me there's two ways to defend this country: from the inside and from the outside. Right now our civil rights are getting stripped away, and it's important that we speak out to keep those freedoms so that all the military sacrifices on foreign soil won't be in vain.
