I live in Honolulu Hawaii, near the Aloha Stadium.  I am a regular foot, shortboard surfer. As kids, my brother and I cut our teeth surfing Oahu's west coast. Makaha will always be our home break. We grew up at the beach, surfing the late 70's and into the 80's with friends like the Keaulanas, Sunny Garcia and Johnny-Boy Gomes. These days, the crowd at Makaha is out of control, and since we prefer North Shore spots, we don't get out west too often.

1963- (May) Born (Military Base, Japan)
1963-1977 Lots of unimportant, non-surf related experiences
1977- Learned to stand on a surfboard at Talafofo(sp?) Bay, Guam
1978- Moved to Waianae, Hawaii early 1978. Surfed every day!
1979-1984- Heavily into amateur surf contests, moved up to pro-am stuff with assorted sponsorships
1985- Surfing less and less
1986- By the end of '86 I was not surfing at all
1997- (Summer '97) A friend got me back in the water and I never looked back. . .
1997- (Summer '97) Met my beautifulyoung wife - to- be
1999- Married!
2001- Baby Boy!
