I took this
shot of Makani getting an EPIC barrel. He's in there, the tip of his board
is barely visible. He was fully pitted for about 6 seconds. All of us saw
the whole thing and we all went nuts shouting when he came out. I paid
dearly for the shot, I was still sitting up on my board when the wave hit
me.

Check out that
lump going down the breaking wave. A heavy refraction(?) wave was bouncing
off the point. Made for some hairy takeoffs!
